BKF recommends the following model as a guideline for determining artist fees in connection with art assignments:
The artist's fee includes payment for the entire artwork, including the artist's work with sketch material, construction management, meetings, etc. The artist's direct work with the artwork is not covered by the art fee. Payment for this work must be included in the budget for the art production.
The prices are excl. any production costs:
BKF recommends that the exhibition fee be paid in accordance with the applicable agreement between the artists' organizations, the Organization of Danish Museums and the Association of Art Galleries in Denmark.
BKF recommends that the exhibition organizer contributes to a significant extent with subsidies for the production of new works.
BKF recommends that the exhibition organizer pays a viewing fee. This also applies to exhibitions where, according to the legislation, the exhibition organizer is not obliged to pay a viewing fee.
BKF recommends that payment of the exhibition fee or sale of works takes place afterwards BKF's guidelines.
It is recommended that the customer/organiser cover all costs for the transport of people/works/materials.
When driving in your own car, you will be billed according to the state's rates for commercial transport.
