Introduction
When you visit our website, information about you is collected, which is used to customize and improve our content. Below we have elaborated on what information is collected, its purpose and which third parties have access to it.

The website uses "cookies", which is a text file that is stored on your computer, mobile etc. similarly for the purpose of recognizing it, remembering settings, performing statistics and targeting ads. Cookies cannot contain malicious code such as virus.

The website contains cookies from third parties, which to varying degrees may include:

  • Google Analytics – used to monitor traffic on bkf.dk
  • Mailchimp – used to send out the newsletters from bkf.dk and to see if you are registered or not.
  • WordPress – bkf.dk uses a number of plugins via wordpress to determine various functions and visual expression on the site.

Personal data

General
Personal information is all kinds of information that can be attributed to you to one extent or another. When you use our website, we collect and process a number of such information. This happens e.g. by general access to content if you sign up for our newsletter, participate in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, other use of services.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographic location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you give explicit consent to this and enter the information yourself, the following are also processed: Name, telephone number, e-mail, address and payment information. This will typically be in connection with receiving our newsletter or logging into WordPress for local web editors.

Safety
We have implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information and we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal identifiable information to outside parties or use your data in any way that may be in violation of the law.

Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and to be able to provide the services you have requested, such as to send a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimize our services and content.

Storage time
Relevant information is stored in a period of time pursuant to the law, and is deleted, when obsolete. A given time period is determined by the character of a piece of information as well as the reason for its storage. Consequently, it is not possible to define a general timeframe for storage of cookies.

Disclosure of information
Data about your use of the website, for example geographical location, gender and age segment, etc., are passed on to third parties to the extent that this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the section on "Cookies" above.

We also use a number of third parties to store and process data. These process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for your own purposes.

Disclosure of personal data such as name and email etc. will only happen if you consent to it. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide adequate protection for your data.

Insights & complaints
You have the right to be informed about which personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent for information about you to be processed. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
