BKF course: The cross-aesthetic network – a development process for professional artists

May 6 at 09:00-16:00

The cross-aesthetic network – a development process for professional artists

Strengthen your artistic practice in a professional community across art forms.

In “The Cross-Aesthetic Network”, 12 professional artists from different art fields gather over 6 sessions to explore, share and develop their creative processes and methods.

The network focuses on strengthening your process literacy: your ability to understand, articulate and consciously develop your own artistic work process.

Through facilitated sparring, method development and inspiration from authors, visual artists, composers and playwrights, you will gain a deeper and more effective language for your writing process, your artistic impulse and your work as a writer.

The network is a safe, facilitated space where we take turns opening up our ongoing artistic processes to each other in order to cross-fertilize the individual artist and uncover new methods and process approaches that you can use going forward.

Furthermore, you will learn about rhetorical approaches to artistic work and about research into creativity and artistic processes.

As part of the network, you must open up an ongoing artistic process or idea to the rest of the network.

“The cross-aesthetic network” gives you insight into your own and others' methods and a concrete framework for strengthening sustainability and well-being in your professional work.

The network consists of members from AUTOR, the Association of Visual Artists, the Danish Writers' Association and the Danish Dramatists.

Facilitator: Anders Greis is a Master of Arts in Rhetoric, Musicology and Language Psychology, a certified process manager and performing artist. Anders has worked with rhetorical creativity, methods and process understanding for 20 years, and advises artists and professional creatives on a daily basis via KunstnerCoaching.dk.
