BKF course: Conversation about a more sustainable art practice (formerly career check) by Lotte Boesen Toftgaard
As a member of BKF, you can apply for a conversation about a more sustainable art practice, regarding, for example, finances, time, roles, skills and communication. The conversation focuses on your specific needs and what is currently most important for you to talk about. The format is a 1:1 conversation of 60 minutes and there will be only you and Lotte Boesen Toftgaard present.
With a background as an art historian, Lotte Boesen Toftgaard runs the curatorial and consultancy firm Umage. Over the past 15 years, Umage has specialized in advising on and realizing art in public space with a focus on experimenting with the role of contemporary art and artists in urban development projects. In this process, Umage often participates in interdisciplinary collaborations with partners as diverse as artists, architects, archaeologists, urban developers, contractors, interest organizations and various public institutions. Lotte has been affiliated with the Danish Arts Foundation as a Consultant for the decoration of government buildings since 2019 and has experience as a mentor from BKF's mentor corps and from the Danish Arts Foundation's Artistic Elite program.
