Artists' Legal Aid course: 1:1 legal guidance at Artists' Legal Aid

Get legal guidance within your artistic work with a counselor from Artists' Legal Aid. Your guidance may, for example, deal with legal problems within contracts, copyright, tax issues or questions about buying and selling works or compensation. Your session lasts 30 min., where you will have a private conversation with the legal aid counselors.

Artists' Legal Aid is based on volunteer labor, and provides free legal advice to all performing and creative artists, such as visual artists, actors, writers, designers and musicians, etc. Artists' Legal Aid consists of both law students and legal professionals.

Please note that Artists' Legal Aid does not handle issues unrelated to artists' work, such as separation and divorce, housing matters, consumer purchases, wills and inheritances, and criminal cases. For questions regarding general tax matters and unemployment benefits, please refer to the Danish Tax Agency.

Preparation: Before your guidance interview, please send a few lines about what you would like the guidance to cover. Please also attach relevant documentation, such as contracts, agreements, correspondence or similar.

You must have registered by August 18, 2026 at 23:59 PM. We cannot implement the offer with fewer than 5 registered participants. Please note that there can be a maximum of 8 registered participants.
