UBVA course: Free basic courses in copyright

May 8 at 09:00-16:00

Free basic courses in copyright

Copyright is becoming more and more important these years. This applies not least to teachers and researchers and their union representatives.
And this also applies to others, including case handlers in professional organizations and private companies.

  • Who owns the research, the researchers or the educational institutions?
  • What rights do teachers have to their teaching material?
  • What does it mean to have a copyright?
  • When do you need permission before using a work, and when do you not?
  • Does linking on the Internet require permission?
  • And which buttons do you have to press to be legal?

These are just some of the questions that keep coming up. It is important to be prepared to answer them if you want to make your way in a copyright world that is becoming more and more complicated.
