The International Association of Art (IAA) is a worldwide organization for visual artists, which was founded in 1954. The IAA is represented in approx. 110 countries. The purpose of the organization is to stimulate international cooperation between visual artists and to improve the economic and social conditions of visual artists.

A is printed on the back of the BKF membership card IAA card (International Identity Card for Professional Artists). The card allows you to see exhibitions for free when traveling abroad.

Here you can see the IAA's official list of exhibition venues that accept the card:

IAA is associated with UNESCO as an NGO.

The national committees of the individual countries are structured in five different cultural regions: Europe (see http://www.iaa-europe.eu), Africa, Asia/Pacific, Arab States and Latin America/Caribbean.

One can be requested through the Danish National Committee for the IAA IAA customs certificate, which gives visual artists the opportunity to transport works duty- and VAT-free across national borders.
