Network
The Union of Visual Artists works broadly for the conditions and rights of visual artists. The association is active in councils and boards, as well as when it comes to individual professional questions that concern individual members.
The Visual Artists' Association is part of the visual arts organizational network. We are helping to initiate initiatives that improve members' working lives as well as copyright and rights-related matters.
BKF represents i.a. professional visual artists i Danish Artists Council, The Arts Council's board of representatives og VISDA.
Cooperation with other arts organisations
BKF collaborates with, among other things with the Organization of Danish Museums (ODM), the Association of Art Galleries in Denmark (FKD), the Artists' Union (KUFA) and the Organization for Artists, Curators and Art Mediators (UKK).

The Norwegian Association of Visual Artists is a member of AC Akademikerne – the main organization of the Academic Trade Union Movement, and in this connection draws on great expertise in the field of trade law and labor market relations.
