Creative Europe has just opened the Collaborative Projects pool, which supports international cultural projects run by partners from different European countries. There is deadline for applications on 13 May 2025.
The pool for collaborative projects is the largest pool in the European Commission's cultural support programme, Creative Europe. The pool gives cultural actors support to create cultural projects in collaboration with organizations from other European countries.
What can be applied for?
The pool for collaborative projects supports multi-year cultural projects that are created in collaboration between at least three organizations from each European country.
The pool is broad, covers all creative and cultural sectors and can accommodate many diverse projects. The important thing is that the projects are internationally based and try to cover a need or solve a problem that crosses national borders.
The projects must either contribute to innovation in the cultural field or to strengthen transnational exchange and production. This can, for example, be in the form of co-productions, sharing art and culture across national borders or making it possible for artists to enter the international scene.
Who can apply?
The pool must be applied for by a consortium consisting of at least three organizations from each country. Individuals cannot apply.
Funds can be applied for three types of projects:
- Small collaborative projects: at least three partners from three different eligible countries. The EU supports up to EUR 200.000.
- Medium-sized collaborative projects: at least five partners from five different eligible countries. The EU supports up to 1 million EUR.
- Large collaborative projects: at least ten partners from ten different eligible countries. The EU supports with up to 2 million EUR.

Advice from Creative Europe Desk Denmark
The Danish Palaces and Culture Agency houses the Creative Europe Desk, that provides advice and sparring to applicants. For example, the desk holds webinars and information meetings for applicants towards the application deadline.
