Mentor: David Risley

David ran David Risley Gallery 2000-2018; originally in the East End of London before the gallery relocated to Copenhagen in 2009. He represented many international artists including Alex Da Corte, Mike Silva, Anna Bjerger, Michael SImpson, Dexter Dalwood etc. He regularly made major sales to TATE, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, amongst many others and sold works to hundreds of private collections, foundations and companies. He founded and owned 2 art fairs, Chart Art Fair, Copenhagen and Zoo Art Fair, London. He has taught at RCA, London, Goldsmiths, London, Sotheby’s Institute, London, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, Copenhagen, where he also served as a member of the steering committee as advisor to the Dean. He writes regularly for museums, galleries and artists. He has worked with numerous major contemporary artists and curated exhibitions for major public institutions and music festivals. 

He now works full time as an artist and exhibits internationally.
