Dear artists, friends, and members of our community:

We are very happy to announce that Miniprint Kazanlak 2021 is now officially open for applications!

Now in its 9th edition, the International Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak is a yearly exhibition and platform for artists, curators, collectors and art lovers to gather and present work showcasing a multiplicity of artistic approaches, mediums and creative processes exemplifying contemporary printmaking.

Despite the worldwide 2020 pandemic, our recent 8th edition exhibition was a huge success and respite for art lovers in Kazanlak and around the world, featuring over 400 works from over 140 artists representing over 30 countries! Now looking towards 2021, we once again invite artists around the world to submit up to 3 traditional and/or experimental works to be featured in our exhibition during the renowned Kazanlak Rose Festival in June 2021!

Additional and in parallel to the exhibition, our international jury shall award 2 First Prizes (First Prize in Traditional Printmaking + First Prize in Experimental Printmaking) and up to 6 honorary mentions (3 in each category). Awarded artists will be invited to submit up to 10-12 additional artworks to be be featured in the exhibition during the whole duration of the event.

* Please note that for our ninth edition, Miniprint Kazanlak will not be taking a Commission fee on the sale of artworks: 100% of the price of sold works will remain for the artists!

The final registration deadline is April 20th 2021, but a special 20% discounted “Early Bird” registration period is available for artists until December 31st, 2020. Please review the entry conditions and registration guidelines on our website
