The magazine Billedkunstneren

The magazine Billedkunstneren is the artists' voice and is about everything that is relevant to the work of professional visual artists both inside and outside the institutional art world.

BKF's magazine is aimed at members, cultural politicians, actors in the art world and other interested parties and is published four times a year.

Subscription for non-members costs DKK 400 per year.

Suggestions for articles

The magazine's focus is the working conditions of professional visual artists, art policy and trends in art life. Are you a journalist/writer and do you have an article proposal? Or do you as an artist have suggestions for topics the magazine should cover? Then we would love to hear from you. Please note that the magazine does not include mentions/reviews of exhibitions and art projects.
