Loan of BKF's art bus for work transport
BKF has a van (Ford Transit Custom) that members can borrow for up to two days to transport works throughout the country in connection with exhibitions. Kunstbussen is based in Copenhagen (Valby).
Please note that as of 1.1. 2024, the price for borrowing BKF's car is DKK 300 per day.
In addition, you cover your own expenses for diesel.
Please note that if cancellation occurs later than 3 working days before the start of the loan period, the full rent will be charged.
If you want to borrow the car more than two days and/or must drive more than 500 km outside the country's borders, you must write a reasoned application with a copy of the exhibition agreement/invitation attached. The destination must max. lie 1.000 km from Copenhagen.
Art bus specifications
The car's external dimensions are: 533 cm long, 199 cm wide without mirrors (229 cm w/mirrors) and 238 cm high. The cargo space is 288 cm long (at the top, however, only 261 cm), 165 cm wide (between the wheels, however, only 138 cm) and 172 cm high. The diagonal of the door opening is 205 cm. Load capacity max. 800 kg. It does NOT require a large driver's license.

Your booking is only valid when you have received a confirmation email from BKF's secretariat with e.g. practical information.
NB: There may be up to 7 business days until you receive confirmation of your booking
Student membership does not give access to borrowing BKF's art bus.

BKF has a trailer in aarhus, which members can borrow for work transport.

It measures 252 cm in length, 150 cm in width and 150 cm in height - and can be connected to an alm. passenger car.

BKF has a trailer at its disposal Fyn, which members can borrow for work transport.
The scheme is administered by visual artist Erling Janum, who should be contacted.
The trailer is closed and equipped with a ramp, measures 280 cm in length, 145 cm in width and 185 in height.
It can be connected to an alm. passenger car.
