Standard contracts
BKF works to strengthen the culture of written agreements in the art world. Verbal agreements create insecurity, misunderstandings and uncertainty about what has been agreed. This often leads to disputes which could have been avoided if the agreements had been set down in writing.
Standard contracts for use in the arts:
BKF, in collaboration with the Organization of Danish Museums (ODM), the Association of Art Galleries in Denmark (FKD) and the Organization for Artists, Curators and Art Mediators (UKK), has drawn up the following standard agreements for exhibitions at art galleries, museums and other exhibition venues:
