BKF supports the study environment at the art academies

BKF will help ensure a good student life at the country's art academies.

Students from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Walls and Space (v. Professor Nils Norman) hold a workshop in the Alps, 2013. In collaboration with Stephan Dillemuth and Florian Hüttner. Photo: Margarita Krag.

As a student member, you can apply to BKF for grants for local initiatives and projects at one of the country's three art academies.

It can be for professional events or small excursions that take as a starting point your life as a student and that benefit you and your fellow students.

NOTE: No support is provided for exhibition projects or study tours.

What you need to do:

Send an application on a maximum of two A4 pages, in which you describe:

  • Project content (description, realization time, location, participants/presenter, etc.)
  • Reason for how it ensures a better study environment
  • Attach a budget for both income and expenses.
  • Contact information

A maximum can be applied for DKK 5.000 per project and each academy can be awarded a maximum of DKK 10.000 annually.

Applications are processed on an ongoing basis - ie. without application deadline.
