Åse Eg Jørgensen never considered applying to the Copenhagen Academy of Fine Arts. She had already found an artistic community among friends. Since then, self-organized collaborations have become a crucial part of her practice, because they give her the freedom to create a framework with trust, friendship and co-creation at the center.
