Sustainability. Everyone talks about it, everyone wants something with it – to a greater or lesser extent. But what does it mean to work with sustainability in an environment- and climate-oriented context? How can you integrate it into your work as an artist, as a person? And how can you make a difference?
We will find answers to these questions together with Bæredygtigt Kulturliv NU, which facilitates three interactive and professionally immersive Climate Salons that revolve around the themes LEARN, CALCULATE, DO.
The air-conditioned salons are adapted for visual artists.
The theme for the second climate salon is: CALCULATE
Climate sustainability is complex. It requires knowledge and insight to be able to make informed choices. There is a need for what is called in Danish "climate formation" - a term that describes the climate's impact on society and society's impact on the climate. In this Klimasalon, we expand the concept and introduce, among other things, The Artists' Handbook for Sustainable Art Production, which can help you get started - and then we will develop a lot of climate initiatives.
