On this course we review and test different qualities and techniques within weaving.
We begin by analyzing different fabric samples to give an impression of how many different qualities and techniques exist. We then test it all in practice on selected SVFK looms. During the course, you will get to weave both alone and with others.

About the teacher:
Gitte-Annette Knudsen is a trained weaver both in a workshop and at Denmark's Design School and since 1986 has had her own weaving practice with a special focus on handwoven carpets. She is a designer for the carpet company Linie Design and a consultant at SVFK's weaving workshop. In addition, Gitte-Annette Knudsen has over the years woven large carpet tasks for other weavers.
Application and target group:
The course is aimed at professional performers in the artistic field. Some weaving experience would be an advantage.

Cancellation must be made in writing to the administration. Until the registration deadline, cancellation can be done without charge. If you cancel after the deadline, 50% of the course fee is paid. If you cancel later than 3 days before the start of the course, the entire course fee is paid. You have the option of sending a substitute if you are prevented from participating.
