This year marks the 300th anniversary of Denmark's colonization of Greenland, and young forces in Greenland's artistic life are in full swing with the showdown with the colonial legacy. But is Denmark only interested in Greenlandic contemporary artists when the exhibition theme is Greenland or the Arctic?

Artists and art historians identify answers to that question the September edition of BKF's trade magazine BILLEDKUNSTNEREN, which has just been released. Here below you will find selected articles.

A completely mistaken decision that risks slowing down many other art projects in the public space. This is the opinion of the Association of Visual Artists (BKF), that helps the visual artist FOS in a matter of principle regarding artist VAT. Both BKF and the Academy Council call on the politicians to update the artist VAT scheme.
